Director, Noel Micallef, PADI Staff Instructor, first started diving over 30 years ago. Training first as a BSAC instructor, he then embarked on PADI training, and has been a PADI instructor for over 17 years.  He established Paradise Diving Malta in 1991 and continues to manage the dive centre and teach diving on a full time basis.

Alison Micallef Brennan, British expat, living in Malta since 1995, runs the dive centre with her husband Noel. She will answer your enquiries, handle all bookings, advise on accommodation, find a babysitter, suggest restaurants and anything else you need help with.

Mark Dove
Our head instructor is Mark Dove Padi MSDT, who left an office job in the UK in 2006, after his wife Lyn suggested they move to Thailand and qualifiy as Instructors to pursue their love of diving full time.  After working in Grenada and St Vincent, they arrived in Malta in 2008.  This is Marks third year working for Paradise Diving and he is very much at home in the Maltese islands.
Jesus Carrillo

Jesús Carrillo is from Spain, started to dive in 2007 and became PADI Instructor in 2010, after several months of intense training and working as Divemaster in the Canary Island of El Hierro. He decided to establish himself in Malta, attracted by the  beauty of it's reefs, wrecks and its Mediterranean culture.  He has a passion for diving, teaching and, of course, learning something new each day!

Brian Moran, hails from Glasgow but learned to dive in the caribbean island of Aruba.  He enjoyed diving in Scotland and decided to make the switch from the motor industry to the diving industry.  Brian chose Malta to complete his professional qualifications and became a PADI instructor.  He now lives permanently in Malta, but still gets involved in the occassional motor project and was recently involved in the restoration of a vintage Maltese bus.
Matt O'Connor PADI open water
PADI MSDT Mark Dove awarding Matt O' Connor his PADI Open Water Certification.   Matt is better known for playing percussion in the Rod Stewart band and was over in Malta for the Rod Stewart 2010 tour.  Matt worked very hard to fit the open water course before and after the concert.  His colleagues in the band, had an easier time as they were already qualified divers and could dive for fun at Lantern Point Chimney and Blue Lagoon Tunnel and cave.
