We recommend you pamper yourself with a week or two at the 4* Paradise Bay Resort Hotel.  Surrounded by sea on both sides, the hotel lies in an idyllic spot at the northern tip of Malta, within easy reach of Gozo.  All rooms are air-conditioned and the hotel has no less than four pools, extensive sun terraces, and its own private beach (where we are based).  No need to get up early for sun-loungers here!

The hotel is offered by most travel agents and you can also book direct with the hotel or obtain a quote using the hotel’s web site.  www.paradise-bay.com   The web site is very informative with photos of all facilities, rooms and public areas.  Both sides of the hotel feature seaviews, with the bayview rooms featuring Paradise Bay and the seaview rooms featuring Comino and Gozo.  We recommend the superior rooms which are recently refurbished with new bathrooms.  If a sunny balcony is important to you - the south facing rooms are on the bayview side.

For those of you on a budget, we would suggest self catering apartments in the nearby village of Mellieha.  The apartments are simply furnished and well equipped.  We provide free transport between our dive base and these apartments each day.  During August, prices are Euro 45, per night, for a two bedroom apartment, based on two guests, or Euro 52 for four guests, including airport transfers.  Based on a rental period of 7 nights or more.  The quoted rate is for the whole apartment and not per person. Three bedroom apartments, are also available.  Contact alison@paradisediving.com for further information.  Non-diving companions may share the accommodation with you. Should you choose alternative accommodation, we provide free transport for between our diving centre and the following resorts: Mellieha, Riviera Resort, Ramla Bay, Golden Sands, Bugibba, Qawra, St Paul's Bay, Mistra, Xemxija, and Selmun.  Now that Ryanair are flying here from many more destinations, why not grab an extra winter break? 
Flights operating to Malta

We provide free transport to and from these apartments each day.  They are within easy walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants.  Facilities at the complex include outdoor pool and bar.  A studio suitable for 2 people costs Euro 25 per night, (not per person) based on a 7 night stay in July, August or September.  Larger apartments are also available.  Airport transfers for two people would be an extra Euro 23.50 each way. (not per person)
